Dancong are aromatic oolong teas from Guangdong province in Southern China. The specific region is called Phoenix Mountains. The tea leaves are reddish brown, twisted and long. This tea can be quite a diva: water temperature, the amount of leaves, brewing vessel and steeping time affect this tea tremendously. This tea is worth the extra effort, though, because of the unbelievable spectrum of aromas it can give us.
